This is where I first learned Tai Chi, in 1993. an introduction
this is the Ontario Street Beach park where we practise now in good weather.
Webbed Feet Design education
We led biweekly Tai Chi classes at Northwestern Memorial Hospital Stone Institute Clinic (3 yrs.) and Amita Health (1 year). We
have led sitting classes at two assisted livings. Taught for six months at Nami-metro suburban, and did a pop-up event at The Cup House three days a week for one month.
Our lead instructor recently taught private lessons to three former students, doing Wu Style 108 Tai Chi in the park at the lakefront and in a pool twice a week and at Accension in the Art + AA Room. Jawon, Gus and Lakeshia.
Our fearless leader, The Blue Dragon, studied a year via Zoom with the disciples of the descendents of the founders of the Wu Style of Tai Chi--The Wu
Federation, in Toronto, Canada. He also took part in the study of the Gold Book, a classic tai chi text.
Over the winter, he taught a 2 hour class at the Harold Washington Library in downtown Chicago, IL USA, each Wednesday December 2022-April 2023. Come join
us!
We are also available for contract teaching.
Hire us to come to your location and teach your people! Classes are usually 12 weeks long 1 hr each. So 3 months.
Then if you like, we can probably start again.
or not.
Please make checks payable to Webbed Feet Design, our parent company. We can send you an invoice via email for your financial dept records. Cost is $100 per class, so $1200 per 12 week class set. Scholarships may be available for exceptional students, awarding categories of most improved, most pleasure to have in class, most needing this so bad. lol. but seriously.
our student with MS tai chi-d herself back to mobility, Diane. That was satisfying to teach. wouldve taught Her for free. For example. Lin practiced daily and improved like a jackrabbit. Estella brought presents and birthday cake and was a total pleasure to have in class. So, like that. Jawon was the best student ever, came to every class, and always eager to learn and practise and contribute. So, no money, no worries. But the medical institutions we serve can pay, and should. What we do is valuable and complimentary to what they provide.
And then I started biking to class, and got so HUNGRY, that I figured out some things to eat, to bring, so I wouldn't have to pay $$$ eating out downtown each time. And so this blog was born: check it out! if you want.

I was doing Tai Chi and one of my students was doing some warmups where you flick imaginary water off your fingers. Which I learned from my zoom class with the Wu Style Federation, in Toronto
that year!
I am passionate about helping people with chronic incurable miserable conditions get less miserable. Through their own persistence perserverence, sweat and tears. From inside out. I'm riveted by participating in producing healing miracles.
our facebook page with videos and discussion from Tai Chi experts from around the globe
We'll be back outside having our class in the park by the lake soon.

our end of season party that no one but us came to but we had fun anyway!
our research project applied!
Speaking of pots of boling shrunken heads.. I mean, our reseach division, where we study ancient cultures' arts for clues in fields of health and wellness, most specifically applications to food and drink.
Sadly, our project Eggs To Apples which was on Facebook, now is not due to hackage.
My life sure got better when I learned how to make a few things that I really like to eat! pictured here: Mom's Chicken Catchetori with Angel Hair Pasta, classic BLT with a summer tomato, a glass of ice water, and blueberry french toast which I have often.
Yum! delicious French Toast with blueberries and maple syrup. 1 egg, splash milk, 2 slices bread.

For mid-day classes, bring a sandwich for the picnic lunch. Lunch is 15 mins, practise is 45 mins, so 1 hour total. If your skin is fair be sure to remember your hat and long sleeved cover up so you don't get too burned.
This didn't happen.. . Instead I studied with Chris Cinnamon at Chicago Tai Chi. I took Tai Chi for Balance which was hard work and lots of fun.
but NOW
we have a space to do tai chi.
